Two young virtuosos receiving affection and support from Martha Argerich,
Cellist Gautier Capucon and Pianist Dong Hyek Lim!

The two virtuosos received great response at their 2010 DITTO Festival concert and to celebrate DITTO’s 10th anniversary, they are coming together again. Pianist Martha Argerich started supporting Dong Hyek Lim in 2001. She had been eyeing his impressive playing for some time at various music festivals and later on invited him to the La Roque d’Antheron International Piano Festival, Verbier Festival, and more. She also highly recommended him to EMI Classics ‘Young Pianist’ series.

Gautier Capucon is also one of the young artists that performs with Argerich at festivals. Capucon and Lim were first introduced to each other by Argerich and performed together in Korea 7 years ago. And they meet again after actively engaging in stages all over the world. Great piano and cello works by Beethoven, Brahms, Rachmaninov, and more are programmed for this duo concert.
