2014 DITTO Festival – Ensemble DITTO Season 8 ‘Dear AMADEUS’

The most attractive icon of the classical music scene, Ensemble DITTO

Ensemble DITTO’s the eighth season theme is Mozart. With the main title ‘Dear AMADEUS’, DITTO will play the timeless pieces of Mozart.This prodigy has left a wide range of classical music repertoire over solo, orchestral pieces and operas. To determine the programs for this season, the members have been pondering for a long to time and have finally decided to play Mozart's pieces, the music appreciated by every member.

The2011 Grammy Award-winning Parker Quartet, especially, is reuniting with the festival afterthree years. The members areDaniel Chong (leader/violin), Ying Xue (violin), Jessica Bodner (viola) and Kee-Hyun Kim (cello). Also this vigorous quartet has received an honor of teaching at the Department of Music, Harvard University.

The mission of Ensemble DITTO is to share the classical music with a wider range of people. It is not surprising to predict sold-out concerts with these preeminent classical stars ‒ Richard Yongjae O'Neill and Stefan Jackiw to name a few. The adventure of Ensemble DITTO goes on.
