The Japanese Buddhist monk-musician who has swept across Asia, with his music videos surpassing 100 million views — for the first time in Korea.

Circle of Harmony is a stage reflecting on the ten-year journey of Kanho Yakushiji’s Heart Sutra MUSIC, and a return to the original heart.

Over the past decade, he has taken Buddhist scripture as his starting point, continually exploring the possibilities of sound and mind, and using contemporary musical expression to open a dialogue between Buddhist sutras and this era. This 10th anniversary world tour takes “圓” (circle) as its theme — symbolizing the completeness of practice, the harmony of life, and the moment each listener reconnects with themselves through music.

The performance centers on the beloved signature pieces 〈Heart Sutra〉, 〈Great Compassion Mantra〉, and 〈Gatha of the World-Honored One〉, newly reinterpreted with world music, electronic sound, and modern arrangement.

It will also feature recent works of contemporary Buddhist music — 〈Namo Amitabha Rebirth Mantra〉 and 〈Buddhoshnisha Vijaya Dharani〉 — showcasing his ongoing exploration and creative challenge in Buddhist music over the past ten years.

Familiar scriptures reveal new dimensions within unfamiliar sound, guiding the audience to set aside the noise of daily life and return to this present moment — finding the purest inner peace between breath and silent listening.

Ten years is one journey, and also another beginning.

Through this 10th anniversary world tour, Kanho Yakushiji meets Korean audiences for the first time.
