Two 11-year-old boys Bruno and Ferdinand engage in a fistfight at a playground, and Bruno loses two teeth after being punched by Ferdinand. Bruno’s parents Michel and Véronique invite Ferdinand’s parents Alain and Annette to their home to discuss their children’s acts. At first, they behave in a sophisticated, well-mannered way but soon engage in childish arguments; in the end, they wag their fingers at each other, throw things at each other, say foul words, engage in a hand-to-hand fight, and eventually become out of control and extreme…
