Creative Team

Director | Achim Freyer

Achim Freyer, the world's director of Wagner’s operas and an expressionist painter, presents a perfect balance between three elements as uniqueness, creativity and artistry, with his own designs including stage, lighting and costumes. An artist who escaped from East Germany to West Germany for free art in 1972 and is the only living apprentice to Bertolt Brecht, he is the first foreign director of Pansori, a Berlin UDK National University professor who won numerous honors and honors for his various activities. Following the world's first highly acclaimed version of the ‘Ring of Nibelungen’ produced by the Los Angeles Opera at the invitation of Placido Domingo, his work titled "to make a new German opera for Korea," is now to be set in Korea for the first time in history.
