The Fusion Guk-ak Musical “Fanta-Stick” harnesses the mournful love story and folksong “Arirang” to blend traditional and contemporary Korean cultural styles such as “Pansori”, “Samulnori”, Drumming, Dance, Laughter, K-pop, and B-Boying.

Fanta-Stick is a non-verbal performance that maximizes synergy effect between different performance genres by strong characteristics of non-verbal performance and unique traditional and modern contents like Korean traditional instruments and rhythm, digital rhythm, Samulnori (Korean traditional percussion quartet), b-boy. Fantastic harmonization of heart-beating sounds of percussion and beautiful melodies of Korean traditional music gives ‘Fanta-Stick-’al moment to all.

〈Fanta-stick〉 has recorded a million total audiences and showed more than 4,000 times since it opened on 25th April 2009 at 63 Building. It took the prize of Korea Tourism Organization performance Excellent content and was selected the representative performing arts tourism contents by the various organization’s foreigner for a long time. Following the success of the sellout at the LA and San Francisco, US tour, the show was scheduled to tour Kobe, Osaka, and Tokyo, Japan.
