It's clean and nice. The sea is great.
The view was really, really nice, so I had a very relaxing stay.
I searched hard for a place to stay for a trip to Wolmido with the babies and booked because there were many reviews saying Blue Marine Hotel was very good. There were certainly strengths, but I think there were many disappointing parts. The owner and staff were very friendly and the location is truly golden, so I liked it a lot. The view was also excellent. I expected some noise so I did not pay much attention to it; it even felt fine, like part of the trip experience. However, although many families seem to visit, the indoor lighting was far too dim, especially the bathroom. I don't know if it was only the room I used, but the bathroom lighting was very dark and the shower area was so dim I could not tell if the light was on or off, which made me, an adult, feel uneasy while showering. I had expected some aging, but when I closed my eyes to sleep in the middle of the night I kept hearing the sound of water dripping. I found water continuously dripping from the ceiling at the entrance, so our shoes and the stroller got wet. I contacted the hotel in the middle of the night. Someone came up to check and said this had never happened before, that they were fully booked so changing rooms was difficult, and apologized. It is true there were no available rooms, but I wondered what they would have done if the water had been dripping inside the room rather than at the entrance... Should we have kept sleeping in a room with water dripping?... But it wasn't the staff's fault. ㅠ.. The cause of the dripping was the air conditioner: when the AC was on water dripped continuously, and when it was off the water stopped, so I could not turn the AC on and just slept without it. I didn't contact them again because I felt the situation would not change. We came on a trip to enjoy ourselves, but at the hotel I had booked to rest comfortably I could not relax, feeling uncomfortable from the heat and the dripping water. This should definitely be checked and improved. It was Room 612. I understand the room condition was somewhat aged, but not being able to use the air conditioner in hot summer was very inconvenient. Still, the amusement park view and especially the ocean view were very nice.
Some parts are a bit dated, but it's fine for sleeping and I'm overall satisfied.

I have been having a hard time lately, so I visited to rest by the sea for the weekend. The owner even upgraded our room, so I was able to relax while looking at the ocean. Thank you!
It would have been five stars, but the hallway has poor soundproofing. At 1 AM after checkout the key was still in the door and the outside check-in light was on, yet at 9 AM they came in to clean without ringing the bell and just opened the door while I wasn’t dressed. I was shocked and very upset by this absurd incident.
This was my second visit. As before, the staff were friendly and the room was satisfying. I plan to stop by again during my vacation. The ocean is close, so I was able to relax and recharge!
The room is clean and the AC does not smell. I like it!!
