Yeongdeok Healington Resort

I visited with my mother and family. The roads were convenient so wheelchair access was excellent. The ocean view is beyond words ^^ About a 10-minute drive to Ganggu Port, so we could eat fresh sashimi, and everyone had a happy day~

The ocean view was so beautiful.

I was surprised by the large room, and although it is on a roadside it was quieter than I expected. However, the bathtub did not drain completely, and some in-room items seemed to be missing (hangers, tissue box, etc.). Overall, a fairly decent place to stay.

We had a great time thanks to the beautiful sea view and the clean accommodation. However, when many people were in the barbecue area my eyes burned a lot. Also, ash from the charcoal blew onto the table when they lit the coals, which was a bit uncomfortable. Still, it was a very nice place.

The exterior says "Healington Condo." It was very clean. I thought it would be noisy because it is next to the road, but the unit has an inner door (it was quiet). There is access to the sea and the water is clean enough for snorkeling. The sunrise visible right from the accommodation was also very beautiful. I traveled on foot. The rural tourism bus called the Blue Bus was good too. The snow crab restaurant recommended by the accommodation had good crab yield so we were satisfied (the side dishes were average to slightly above average). The crab restaurant pickup service was excellent, and since I said the resort introduced it they might have been extra friendly, or maybe they are always that kind — I’m not sure.

There was a convenience store, charcoal grilling area, kids playroom, sea view, indoor spa, and several other facilities all together, so it was great for taking a full day to rest. If I have another chance I will use it again.

We saw the sunrise, and the ocean view was absolutely stunning.

Check before booking if you plan to eat packaged crabs in the room—you cannot eat them in the room, so confirm before you reserve. It wasn't written on the booking page^^ When I mentioned it they said they'd correct it... haha. The listing says cooking allowed, so I asked and they said only simple meals are permitted. They told us to go eat at the barbecue area, but now that the weather is getting warm there are lots of bugs... haha. If you plan to bring packaged crabs, I recommend booking somewhere else^^ When I brought it up, in front of guests they openly told a staff member, “When room 000 checks out, take all the bedding out and wash it,” which made me feel bad... haha, so I'm writing this review. hehe I wonder if they usually don't wash bedding if it looks clean? lol They said it so bluntly right in front of us that I felt uncomfortable and ended up explaining my situation and eating at the restaurant instead^^.... I talked with another accommodation owner and they were surprised that a place like this exists. hehe Other places even lay down plastic so you can eat inside, which would have been nicer ㅠ haha The room was clean and the view was great~~^^

Great view and the room is tidy. There's a convenience store open late, which is convenient, and the playroom is good. A 1–3 minute walk away is a beach where kids can play.

Clean, large spa, close to the beach, plenty of amenities—an excellent place to stay!
