O2 Resort: at least the parking is close and the room layout keeps walking distance short, and the staff were friendly (one of them was fairly large build).
If I rate the facilities out of 10, even 1 point feels generous.
Insufficient heating — it was June but it was cold. I slept cold and woke up groggy.
Cleanliness and hygiene were a complete mess, really dirty, ugh.
To be specific, everything is dirty: the bathroom, the room, the refrigerator.
There was spilled food frozen inside the fridge. The area between the fridge and the sink was a total disaster of filth. It was obvious on the floor: ramen, trash, clumps of dust, blackened gunk just piled up. The toilet had old grime and smelled. The wall tiles around the hair dryer were stained and looked like urine, making the surrounding area dirty.
The shower head leaked water everywhere. Both bathroom shower heads were broken, so our clothes got soaked :(
This felt closer to a cheap guesthouse than a motel; even guesthouses with neglected facilities would be similar. The floor edging is in bad shape and torn, and there is zero soundproofing. Calling this a resort is way exaggerated. I will not use it again.
The photos are too awful to upload. It was just filthy to the extreme. I was disgusted.
I was going to file a complaint at the check-in center but the baby fell asleep early, so we just slept.
I brought our own blanket, which was at least a relief.
