I had a nice rest~^^♡
It was a VIP room, and aside from finding hair on the bed, urine splatter in the toilet, and one bottle of water in the fridge that was completely frozen solid, the room condition itself wasn't bad. However, the front desk woman's handling the next morning was a mess. My schedule the next day didn't start until 1:00, so after washing up I called the front desk to extend for one hour. They said payment must be made in advance, so I said I'd come down in a little while. She hurried me and said it had to be done right away. I said I'd come down shortly, and she kept insisting it had to be done immediately while repeatedly asking whether I would pay with cash or card. I said Samsung Pay, so card. A male staff member came up; I opened Samsung Pay to pay, and he said Samsung Pay has to be done downstairs. What is that? Because of that man's wasted trip I also lost time. So I put my clothes on and went downstairs. I pointed out that I had said I'd come down, and she replied—without apologizing—that I had not given an exact time. I said I had said I would come down in a bit, and she repeated the same thing back in an accusatory tone. I then asked, "Did I say I was coming down? If you wanted me to come down dressed, should I have undressed and come down?" She told me not to get angry. Fine, but then respond properly. You trained people like barking dogs and still tell customers not to get angry. Don't expect others to be polite when you have long stopped being polite yourself. How can you work in service with that attitude? When I heard "prepayment," a simple, "How many minutes will that take?" would have solved everything. Instead you blew it up and then blame me—do you think that's normal? If the owner reads this, it would be to the hotel's benefit to sort out that staff member.
It was a VIP room, and aside from finding hair on the bed, urine splatter in the toilet, and one bottle of water in the fridge that was completely frozen, the room condition itself wasn’t bad. However, the next morning the female front desk staff’s handling was terrible. My schedule the next day started at 1:00, so I had some time. After showering I called the front desk to extend the stay by one hour. They said it was prepaid and I said I would come down in a little while, but they hurried me, saying I had to do it right now. I said I would come down immediately, but they kept insisting it had to be done right away and repeatedly asked whether it would be cash or card. I said Samsung Pay, meaning card, and then a male staff member came up. I opened Samsung Pay to pay, and he said Samsung Pay had to be processed downstairs. What is that about? Because the male staff member made a wasted trip, I also lost time. So I got dressed and went downstairs. I said I had told them I’d come down, and they replied without apologizing that I hadn’t given an exact time. I said I did say I’d come down in a little while, and they repeated the same thing in a shameless, accusatory way. I then asked at the front desk, “Did I say that?” and said, “If so, why didn’t you say to come down after getting dressed? Do you expect me to come down naked?” They told me not to get angry. Then act properly in your responses. You’ve trained people like dogs and still tell them not to get angry. Don’t expect others to be polite when you’ve long since lost any kindness—work on your own customer service. How can you be in the service industry with that attitude? Hearing that it was prepaid and saying I would come down in a little while, a single question like “How many minutes will that take?” would have solved it. They made a big issue out of it and are blaming me—how is that a normal mindset? Owner, if you read this, you should consider dismissing that staff member; it would be to the hotel’s benefit.
