I was reluctant to write a review because I was afraid it would become popular... but the quality made it impossible not to. I’ve stayed at several places in Cheongju, but none were this good. By my standards it was as nice as a five-star hotel. You could even feel the owner’s management philosophy. I had a great rest.
The room was smaller than I expected, so I was surprised. Still, overall it was extremely clean and you could tell everything was prepared with care. From the amenities to the bedding there was nothing to fault. The only regret was not being able to stay longer. Other than the difficult parking, there was nothing negative.

I want to go again Great for a relaxing getaway in the city
It was great!! Very clean
My friend and I went to relax and it was amazing. We had a really happy time. There are lots of great restaurants nearby and we plan to visit again. Thank you haha
We only stayed one night, but it was very tidy and we were able to rest comfortably. I highly recommend this place — you can feel a ryokan vibe even in Cheongju. There is also a nearby cafe alley, so the location is really good for travelers coming from out of town ❤️

I stayed here after visiting my grandmother in Cheongju, and the moment I walked in the atmosphere was really impressive. From the entrance to the hallway, the first-floor lobby, and the room interior, everything was unified in deep wood tones, and the detailed ceramic accessories blended naturally with the decor, making it feel like being in Japan. My husband, who likes Japanese-style atmospheres, really loved it as soon as he saw it. The room layout was quite unique and satisfying. It was spotless, of course! The toilet and shower were separated, so after washing I could comfortably enjoy a half-body soak in the bathtub inside the room. In addition, a Samtanbyme was provided in the room, so it was more convenient and nice to be able to change the direction freely while using it :) Across from the accommodation is Unniran-gil with two amazing restaurants, and there are also cafes, so it was great for walking around, sightseeing, and relaxing. If I visit my grandmother again, I want to stay here.

This place is the best value; if it were nearby I would visit often. It is definitely a place I want to stay when I go to Cheongju.

The accommodation is very pretty and clean, but the sound of cars is a bit loud :((

The service was unbelievably good for a price under 100,000 won. The room was spacious overall, and the soft mood lighting plus the in-room bathtub made it feel cozy, like a Japanese ryokan. The bathtub was clean, and bath salts, foam cleanser, and a hair straightener were provided, so it was convenient to use after bathing. There is no elevator and no toothbrush set, so keep that in mind when staying.
