Byeonsan Gaon Resort

Soomok has unmanned check-in and check-out. Barbecue is not allowed, and if something inconvenient happens I had no idea how to contact someone in an emergency. The lodging is close enough to walk to the beach and that was nice. The weather was colder than expected, and the boiler only runs until April. A review mentioned a vomit smell in the bathroom. Room 104 ondol room... there really was a disgusting vomit smell that kept coming and it was painful to open the bathroom door. I wanted to change rooms and contact someone, but it’s unmanned... For two days we were almost always out, came back late just to sleep, and left again at sunrise. There were no utensils at all, and the coffee pot was completely rusted, so I got hot water from the water dispenser on the first floor. Hot water for showering worked fine, and shampoo, conditioner, body soap, and disposable toothbrushes were provided. A previous review said there was no toilet paper holder in the bathroom, and that was true. If it did not smell, I think I would visit again because it is close to the sea... I hope the other rooms did not smell. Why is the window screen attached with Velcro? Hmm... a sash that rolls up? There was a screen... To open the window you have to remove the Velcro, and to close it you have to open the Velcro so you end up closing the window together with the bugs. T_T

The room was clean and close to Byeonsan Beach. There are not many dining options nearby, but there is a convenience store within walking distance. I couldn't use the breakfast because the day didn't match, but it is a great value. I would like to visit again when I come to Byeonsan :)

It was disappointing that the room's temperature could not be adjusted. Also, breakfast starts after 8:30, which was a bit disappointing.

The owner was friendly and the room was clean, so it was nice.

Very clean and located in front of the beach; it was quiet and pleasant.

I rested comfortably... The bread in the morning was also delicious..

I saw the cherry blossoms, rapeseed flowers, and daffodils and had a nice, relaxing stay.

The interior was clean and tidy, the hot water worked well, and the heating was good, so I had a restful stay~ I'll come again~

Satisfied for the price. It feels like a practical family resort. The beach is right in front and close, so it seems great to visit in summer!

It was so warm and really nice The price was low so I didn't expect breakfast, but I was very satisfied with the freshly baked croissant, hot coffee, and drinks.
