Clean, spacious, and quiet... those three alone are excellent, and the service too!!!! Truly perfect. I had an incredibly comfortable stay.

This is a newly built hotel that is spacious and clean. The lake view is very nice. I will stay here again if I get the chance.
I am leaving 1 star hoping things will improve in various ways. This is the first time in my life I have given a 1-star rating. The pool room is very nice. It was so nice that I even planned my next trip because of it. But the moment we happily went into the pool inside the room, I was really angry. The red stains on the window frame were bad enough, but there were dozens of dead insects. Gasp! My child saw this and wanted to leave. A grandfather had booked the pool villa for his grandson, and we even paid an extra 60,000 won for lukewarm water. I didn't want to stay, and the child didn't either... so we couldn't even play for an hour and left. When I first sent photos to a staff member, they said that because it is near a reservoir there are many insects... I could have accepted that if they were alive. Sigh... I also told them that water was leaking in the shower and toilet and that the facilities needed repair, and asked them to pass it on to the manager. At checkout I found out the manager did not even know about these issues, and that made me angry. Also, the manager is a woman, and I believe this is her responsibility. (I wasn't asking for a refund at the time, but now that I think about it it's a shame about the 60,000 won we paid and could not use. Even if they did not refund it, a cup of coffee at the adjacent cafe would have made me less angry.) When I showed the video of the insects she said, "Oh, because of the insects..." and apologized, but if insects are a problem you should pay more attention. Moreover, I had previously complained to that manager once before: the pool beach towels were clearly posted as "one towel per two people," but we were a group of four and were given only one towel and told to pay an extra 2,000 won. I immediately pointed to the notice next to her and asked if it said "one towel per two people," and she insisted that that only applied as one towel per room. I don't know what else they provide, but you should not post it that way. Then she said it was written incorrectly... I told her she should correct it, and only then, as if annoyed, she gave us one more towel. The manager's attitude is really unfriendly. We also requested cups because there were none in our room, and whenever the manager explained something she said, "It changed this time." Some things can be changed, but I doubt their service mindset will improve. I really want a proper apology.
When I went to a ryokan at another property before, the management was so poor that I went this time without high expectations. But to my surprise, there was almost no mold, the ryokan was well maintained, and the accommodation itself was clean and spacious, so I loved it!! If I had to nitpick, they do not provide disposable toiletries, and the ryokan-side windows cannot be covered..? Since it faces the reservoir, you are not easily visible from outside, but it still made me a bit self-conscious. Nevertheless, I was truly very satisfied and it was wonderful. Next time I want to try a room with a pool..!! I stayed well for one day. I will use it again.

I booked a room type with an indoor pool, 2 rooms and 2 bathrooms, but at check-in they suddenly said the pool could not be used and changed my reservation to a 1 room 1 bathroom type and offered a refund of the difference. I was really angry at first, but the follow-up was quick and the explanation was reasonable, so I used the room and left satisfied. In mid-June I thought we could enjoy the outdoor pool, but because the lake is right in front and there are no tall buildings nearby, it was very windy and cold. If we had been able to use the room pool, it would have been better for the child, so that was disappointing. Anyway, looking at the room condition and everything overall, I would definitely return and I have already recommended it to many people nearby. I will definitely book again when I revisit Gyeongju.

Really good. The location, cleanliness, and value for money are all great.
It was quiet and clean, I liked it.
I honestly felt my satisfaction with the trip rise a lot because of the accommodation 👍🏻 I booked Hotel Opus to rest well in Gyeongju, and it exceeded my expectations so I'm leaving a review! As soon as I entered the room I felt so much better because it was spacious and tidy. The bed was huge, perfect for lounging around, and above all the room condition was so clean that I felt good the whole time. The staff were friendly too! Most of all, being dog-friendly was a huge plus. We had a great rest, thank you. I really want to recommend this place to anyone looking for accommodation where they can relax comfortably with their dog!

I visited Gyeongju and stayed at a nice place to rest.
The accommodation had a nice view, clean facilities, and friendly service.
