Palm Valley Resort

The worst facilities and service. I cannot post photos of many parts of my body, so I only posted the bite marks on my arm; people considering this place should take note, and Yanolja needs responsible management. First, guidance service was a mess; no attendant at arrival. Second, I booked Room 6 but the cleaning was poor; when I opened the door and entered, rain was dripping from the ceiling into the area where you take off your shoes. Third, mosquitoes and cockroaches appeared in Room 6, and I was bitten on my arm, thigh, and forehead. Fourth, the shower booth door in the bathroom was fallen off and missing, and cockroaches were crawling on the shower booth glass. Fifth, on a rainy day in several detached-house type accommodations, we were the only team checked in to our unit, raising safety concerns; I asked about the emergency contact list. Sixth, the toilet paper holder cap in the bathroom was sticky. I reserved for June 17–18 and arrived at Palm Valley Resort around 8:30 PM, but there was no attendant at the front desk. Because it was raining, I could not find where Palm Valley was. When I called the office, someone arrived and guided me. When I raised various inconveniences and safety issues, the attendant said, "We were not going to accept reservations due to an electrical inspection, but I made the reservation in advance and if I cancel it I will receive a penalty from Yanolja, so I accepted it. I will refund you, so look for another place." I protested, asking how I was supposed to find another place at this late hour.

I live in Jeju City but suddenly wanted to take a trip to Seogwipo, and Farm Valley Resort caught my eye so I stayed here! It feels close to the city while still being surrounded by nature — when you open the door you can smell the pool and the garden is beautifully maintained. The uniquely decorated room was a bonus! It was great that many attractions are only about 10 minutes away by car. Even as a local, I was satisfied with the room condition and the overall atmosphere of the property. Above all, the owner paid a lot of attention and was very kind, so I left feeling even better. I will visit again.

It felt like being at a Southeast Asian resort in the forest. I breathed clean, fresh air and rested deeply. The owner is kind. It was quiet and pleasant.

The place has a nice view. You can wake up feeling good to the sound of morning birds.

The owner's unique interior design felt a bit distant to us, but the outdoor scenery is truly artistic. If you like forest-like scenery and privacy, be sure to book. The owner is very kind and it's wonderful. I want to stay again when the hot spring pool opens.
