It was older than I expected.
It was comfortable and the view was very nice.
I usually give five stars... I even give almost all five stars on delivery apps... but this place is too dirty. The soundproofing is nonexistent. In the bathroom there were what looked like someones nose hairs left behind. The exhaust fan was caked with dust so air could not pass through at all. I didnt want to touch anything except the bed, so I walked around on tiptoe.
Getting a high-floor park view in a station area was nice, but it felt like a hotel for foreigners with Koreans stuck in the middle — it seemed like Chinese and Taiwanese guests were using it like a dormitory. Even school kids use this as lodging on weekends; maybe because there were so many groups, they shouted and ran in the hallways at night, and you could even hear noise coming up through the bathroom drain. The corridor and the interior layout felt similar to a one-person officetel, and the floor was dusty so it felt very gross;; I dont know if the cleaning is done sloppily, but it felt unpleasant even wearing slippers. Ive stayed at many hotels while traveling, but this is the first time Ive seen the refrigerator power turn off when the room key is removed. Isnt the refrigerator supposed to use a continuous power circuit?
Very clean and warm. Usually tourist hotels don't have OTT services, but here everything worked so I was able to rest very comfortably. Highly recommend!!
The room was cleaner than I expected and I rested comfortably! The heating worked well and it was nice haha. There were not many places to eat nearby, but I took Line 1 to Jongno, saw the Koi King lanterns, and enjoyed the year-end!
