I knew the facilities were outdated when I booked, but I expected the basics of operation to be maintained, so I'll write a few lines. We checked into a room on the 9th floor facing Seoraksan Mountain: double bed in the large room and a single bed in the small room. From the moment we entered, there was a strong smell as if the room had not been aired out, so we opened the door and the balcony door, turned on a fan and the air conditioner, and ran them for four hours. Even then the smell did not go away. Despite sleeping with the balcony window open all night, the unpleasant odor remained the next day. Lying on the double bed, the pillow and blanket smelled like urine, but we managed to sleep anyway. The air conditioner looked like it had not been cleaned for years and had mold buildup. I even wondered whether the room had been cleaned at all: in the morning I found cigarette butts even though it was supposed to be a non-smoking room. Regardless of the facilities, shouldn't room cleaning and management be thorough for guests' hygiene and health?

The cleanliness of the accommodation was the worst. As soon as we entered the room there was a rotten food smell. When I closed the bathroom door to use it, the door would not open. If I had been alone, I might have been stuck in the bathroom. Even though we had not checked out, the cleaning staff just opened the door and came in to clean. When I said we hadn't checked out yet, they said, "Then rest more?" They did not even remove the vacuum or mop. They wore shoes while cleaning and then told us to just rest. There were crumbs of half-eaten snacks under the bed and under the sofa. The sofa was torn, and the mattress had mold. If you are going to manage things like this, don't run a lodging business. I travel often and go to other regions for work, and of all the places I've stayed, this is the worst. I do not even want to mention the refrigerator: as soon as you open it there is a food smell. I never want to go near this place again. Oh, the towels smelled musty.

Aside from being a bit old, the parking lot is spacious, it has everything you need, and I rested comfortably.

In terms of value for money, it's the best. It's inexpensive and has amenities. There are two rooms and a living room so it doesn't feel cramped. The surroundings and location are not bad either. However, it's a bit old and quite worn. It's perfect if you're just there to sleep.
