This Ramada in Incheon Songdo stains the Ramada name—absolutely do not recommend. I came from Gangwon to Seoul Yeouido for an errand and went to Incheon for a date. There was a special price so I booked without checking reviews—my fault, but this place is completely different from other Ramadas across the country. It felt like a 1990s motel/guesthouse. Something felt off from the lobby. The front desk said they don’t serve breakfast, which was strange. I got the key card and as soon as I entered room 808 a moldy smell hit me. After looking around for 1–2 minutes I knew it was unacceptable and went down to ask for a room change. I tried 810 and 812—same corridor and the mold smell was driving me crazy. Because it was a same-day reservation I couldn’t cancel and get a refund, so finally they switched me to 912. The staff kept asking what was wrong; I kept saying it was the mold smell. 912 was at least less moldy and had a window that opened, but I wanted to be angry and give up the 70,000 won and go to another place. It was late though, so I ate dinner and tried to sleep. I slept with the window open and got bitten 7–8 times by mosquitoes. The slippers and bathrobe were awful—old and worn, see photos. Because of the room layout you have to wear shoes inside, so you can’t avoid using the slippers; I’m worried about getting athlete’s foot. I never want to go back. My impression of Ramada has completely changed. Do not go.
