Hyunjin Hotel

The interior feels somewhat dated, and directly across from the entrance is an adult room salon. When I picked up the bathroom showerhead, it was slippery as if soap had not been rinsed off the head. I asked whether there was a safety guard and was told there was not, with too much emphasis and in a forceful manner: "No, there is no safety guard," which made me uncomfortable. Not having a safety guard in the hotel is not something to boast about, and it was not appropriate to answer so brazenly. I simply asked because a child was accompanying us and we needed it, but the strongly negative response made me very upset. It is not something to be proud of that a hotel lacks a safety guard; a slightly apologetic or sympathetic response would be the normal polite reaction. Instead, the staff looked me straight in the eye as if I had asked something I should not have and said there was none. Was it really necessary to answer so forcefully that there is definitely none, as if to silence me? I believe the breakfast is overhyped. It was not tasty compared to other hotels and was nowhere near as outstanding as advertised. There is only hot coffee and no ice, so you cannot have an iced Americano even if you wanted one. Since the cafe operates separately, they give a coffee discount coupon and you have to buy an Americano that normally costs 4,500 won for 3,500 won to get coffee. The radish greens soybean paste soup tasted like store-bought doenjang and seemed to have been reheated rather than freshly made. The emphasized carrot juice, kale-pear juice, and croffle are matters of personal taste; among the three people in our party, one was satisfied. A safety guard is essential when guests include children. Not owning one is not something to be proud of and not something to emphasize. If you accept guests with children, you should either have one, ban children from entering, or at minimum respond with an apologetic or sympathetic attitude.

The room was a good size and in good condition, so I had a nice stay.

Cleanliness is a given. The room and bathroom are spacious, there are many different restaurants nearby, reasonably priced bars, and Emart is close so it's convenient to buy simple food and eat; there's also a park and the beach nearby... Anyway, overall I'm satisfied. I've used it twice and everything was great.

It's not newly built, but it was very well maintained so it felt clean. Especially the bathroom is huge, like a sports field lol. The location is central and the convenience store is very close. In the evening it's a drinking district so I was a bit careful when going to the convenience store, but the accommodation itself isn't noisy. Next time I'll try the breakfast and the fitness center!
