I booked SonoCalm Gyeongju for 5 adults and 2 elementary school children. It was a good accommodation because the base is for 6 people and it can hold up to 8 (additional charge applies). Most hotels are based on 2-4 people so you would have to book separate rooms, which is inconvenient, but this was good for a family. We could check in early, get a room assigned, and go into the spa early, so the kids really enjoyed it. The check-in staff were friendly. The spa is very pretty and well set up; the water is warm and there are dry saunas in several places, which was really nice. However, there are a lot of stairs—many in the spa and in the hotel—so elderly people or young children might trip because some areas have colors that are hard to distinguish. Cleanliness: there was some dust; maybe because the rooms are large and dark, it might be hard for the cleaners. The bed felt somewhat not firm. Overall it was good and satisfying, but there were a few shortcomings so I took one star off.

Some staff responded indifferently and lacked a service mindset.
I booked in a hurry so I couldn't choose the view or anything, but the room condition was good and clean, so I was able to rest comfortably.
SonoCam was wonderful. The room was neat and smelled nice, and I will probably use it again when I visit Gyeongju.

I saw many reviews saying the pool layout is inefficient, and after visiting I understand why. The photos look pretty! The water is shallow so it should be good even for kindergarten kids. I went on a weekday so there were not many people and we had a good time, but on busy weekends or peak season it might be too crowded to enjoy fully.
The room was clean and the lake view was nice. There were many facilities like a water park, restaurants, and BBQ, which was convenient. The water park had a variety of attractions and a good atmosphere, so I was satisfied. It seems like an ideal place to stay when visiting Gyeongju!

The accommodation was so nice that I enjoyed it to the fullest. Especially the bedding was the best.
SonoCalm Gyeongju seems really good for family trips.
The best choice for families with children! But there are a lot of people, which seems to reduce the comfort.
The pool was fun to play in. The nearby walking paths were great and the night view was beautiful.
