Hotel Cozy Myeongdong

It's average. Close to Namdaemun Market.

After arriving at the hotel and being assigned a room, I went in and found that although I requested twin beds, there were three beds?? At first I thought maybe they upgraded me, but what??? The bathroom had a terrible rotten mold smell coming from the drain, the bathroom mirror looked like the glass was about to fall off, and the sink drain cover had fallen off — it was shocking. If I had stayed just one night I might have let it go, but after three days my skin started acting up and I felt itchy, and there were no windows so it felt very stifling. This was not a hotel or even a proper motel, just unacceptable lodging… I will never use this hotel again. Never use Room 708.

The room is not large and the facilities are a bit old, but it was comfortable, clean, and fine for a one-night business trip. Toothpaste/toothbrush/soap were provided, and the location is convenient — overall good.
