Sono Calm Yeosu

I stayed one night while traveling in Yeosu and was very satisfied. From check-in the staff were friendly and the room was neatly maintained, so my first impression was good. Above all, the sea view from the room was really impressive. During the day I enjoyed the open ocean view, and at night I relaxed while looking at the Yeosu sea and nightscape. The room condition was comfortable and the bedding was cozy, so I rested well. The location was convenient for getting to nearby attractions and restaurants, and it was nice for walks. The sea scenery visible from the window in the morning is particularly memorable. I would recommend this place if you are looking for a special accommodation in Yeosu. I would be willing to visit again when I come to Yeosu.

The view was stunning. At night, being able to see the cruise fireworks from the window was great.

I tried a tatami room for the first time. It is more comfortable than a room with a bed.

I tried the All That Dining package; the food was delicious, and having a hinoki bath in the room was really nice.

If there's something a bit disappointing, the cleanliness of the room was insufficient. This is a well-known hotel in Yeosu and the Jeonnam area, and I stayed for a hotel staycation with my parents, but the bathroom sink had not been cleaned. I don't know whether it was the room cleaning staff or the previous guest, but there were food scraps stuck to the sink... Before my parents saw it, I scraped the marks off with my fingernail while making a face. ㅜㅜ The complimentary minibar in the room was also two bottles of sparkling water, which was not what I expected... I guess I expected too much. What was good was that the pre-paid dinner and breakfast were at Chef's Kitchen instead of the lounge, which I liked. But I also wanted to use the lounge. At the front desk, after I made an additional payment they said lounge use was difficult that day. That was disappointing too. It would be appropriate to give a prior explanation and get payment consent at check-in. Overall, I left with several regrets.

The facilities and service were good. I paid for an ocean view, but it didn't even come close to a half view, which was disappointing.

The dinner was really, really good and the breakfast was tasty too. The view was nice, the bedding was cozy, and the bathroom was clean. I visited Yeosu after several years and was able to rest very comfortably again.
