Chungju Eden Forest Hotel

Pros: The bathroom is clean. The bunk bed room was better than expected. The parking lot is spacious. Cons: There are no people around so it feels rather scary at night. When two beds were pushed together there was a lot of uncleaned trash on the floor.

Good value for money. Everything was handled without staff. The heating is a heater so you need to set the temperature a bit higher. The blanket was warm. What I liked most was the towels; they were really clean and had no odor.

A good location for a one-night stay after the carbonated hot spring and buying beef to eat. Newly built, clean, large parking lot.

I booked this to take my parents and visit the nearby hot springs. There is a front desk, but it only has a number posted and is usually unattended, so it felt like an unmanned system. The room condition was decent and clean, and there were amenities. However, the floor heating did not work at all and only the ceiling heating functioned, so the floor was freezing and the room as a whole did not feel warm. When I called, they just told me to wear slippers indoors because the floor is cold. Also, when we tried to use the bathtub, only lukewarm to slightly warm water came out—no hot water. When I called about that, they simply said, "There is no hot water." My parents were embarrassed... We probably will not come again with my parents.

Clean, spacious, and nice. The switch for changing TV channels is hard to operate; it would be helpful to have an instruction manual.
