I stayed with friends for the New Year, and I was very disappointed with both cleanliness and staff response. When we entered the room, there were a lot of hairs on the bed and stains on the bedding. I called immediately and they said they would replace the bedding, but no one came for over 30 minutes, so I went out for dinner and informed the front desk again. After dinner we returned to the room, but the bedding was still the same. I called again and a staff member said they would come, but they only arrived after a long time. When they opened the door they asked, “Why did you call?” which showed they were not aware of the situation at all, so I had to explain everything again. They eventually changed the bedding, but they only replaced the top cover and left the mattress unchanged, so I had to request again. There was also food left in the refrigerator from a previous guest. It seemed they had simply tidied up without properly replacing the bedding, perhaps assuming the previous guest had used it cleanly. While cleanliness issues can happen, the response and handling afterward were very inadequate. It was most frustrating that action was taken only after multiple requests. I will not be returning.
