Gangneung Harutbam

At first I was a bit surprised because the room, toilet, and shower are separated, but the entrance area looked better than I expected so the first impression was good. Walking down the corridor into the room, it felt neat and clean rather than cute or flashy. I have summarized a few details for future guests. Pros and features Shower: The facilities are very clean, and most importantly, the water pressure is great so showering is very comfortable. Separated layout: The bathroom and toilet are separate from the room. (There are no in-room spa facilities.) Bedding: Some reviews mentioned the blankets are thin, but since it was summer they were fine for covering with no problem. Cons and notes Soundproofing: The guest room doors are not very thick, so soundproofing is not great. If you are sensitive to noise, please keep this in mind. Room furnishings: The small chair in the room is very light and a bit flimsy. If the owner could replace it with a sturdier chair, the stay would be much more comfortable. Overall, the shower facilities are clean and tidy, making this a decent place to stay.

Everything was clean, but it was a bit chilly in the morning! Other than the duvet being too thin, everything was great!

Close to Gangneung Station and convenient for taking the bus to the beach and the Central Market~ It was cozy so I rested well!!

★★★★★ I used it once in winter and was so satisfied that I booked again this time coming to Gangneung :) It's close to Gangneung Station so it's convenient to get around, and there's a market right nearby which is nice. The room is clean and cozy, good for resting, and the bedding was warm so I slept well again hehe. The owner was also friendly and helpful, so I left feeling good~

Good for an overnight stay.

It feels like an older motel that was renovated after being taken over. Accessibility is good and the cute decorations made it generally pleasant. I visited on the weekend but the noise was not a big issue and I slept well. The bedding was nice too. One downside: overall it was clean, but maybe they forgot—the toilet seat had urine stains. It looked like they cleaned quickly and then used it. Is the water supposed to be in the bathroom? That was a bit odd. Despite having a refrigerator, two 500ml PET bottles were placed in the bathroom. Also, it might be cold in midwinter: heating starts at 10 PM, so I checked in around noon and it was a bit chilly while resting. Anyway, overall I was satisfied for the price.

It was a simple but neat place to stay.

I was a little worried because it was supposed to be cold but it warmed up in the evening and by night it was sizzling warm, so I slept warmly and well! The interior was clean, simple, and pretty and it was tidy so I had a quiet, restful stay.

There was no heating or electric blanket so it was a bit cold, but it was fine for a one-night stay!
