InterContinental Alpensia Pyeongchang

I can see why it's a 5-star. It was perfect. Cleanliness ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Value ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Service ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ View ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Facilities 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟 There are so many things to enjoy within the Alpensia grounds, so we made the most of it. I came to Pyeongchang wanting to go somewhere cool for summer, and it definitely delivers on the coolness. I left Seoul in shorts and sweating, but by the time we arrived in Pyeongchang I was wearing a thin long sleeve and long pants and was shivering. Next time even in summer I'll bring a windbreaker or light outer layer. It's perfect as a summer getaway. The lake view was beautiful, and it was great for visiting nearby Daegwallyeong. One note for couples without a car: if you plan to stay a while, I recommend renting a car. We tried to get around on foot, but the buses run only twice a day, so we had to rent a car in a hurry 😅 The breakfast was delicious and the whole stay was very healing. I want to come again this winter season.

It is older, but well maintained and very clean. The lobby lounge and in-room dining were excellent.

The hotel is great as expected. Much better than the resort next door. Con 1: Booking is tough... book quickly. Con 2: The pillow is too high. Do other people use bedding this high? I'm not the only one who prefers low, right?? Felt like my neck would snap... I asked for a lower pillow in the middle of the night and they replaced it quickly. Thank you, much appreciated. Breakfast was the best. I wanted to try the famous dried pollack, but honestly it was nothing special compared to home. But at home you can't eat buffet, right??

The facilities are very clean and the service is excellent.

As befits a 5-star hotel, the bedding is comfortable and the service is excellent; I especially like the amenities at InterContinental Pyeongchang.

I really liked the service, cleanliness, and the surrounding weather. It's cool and refreshing; I want to live here.

The surrounding scenery and air were excellent. All hotel staff (door attendants, front desk, housekeeping, buffet restaurant, etc.) were friendly, and the accommodation was very clean. I would like to visit again.
