The accommodation is not very large but it is clean. The view was disappointing because I booked a room without the Cheongcho Lake view, but that was my choice. Rooms with Cheongcho Lake views seem nice. The provided instant ramen, bread, and cereal were satisfying. The place offers good value for money. Subjectively, the staff friendliness was so-so. Overall, it was pretty good.

I was satisfied with the location because it has good access to the central market, Dongmyeong Port, and many famous restaurants. The facilities are fine. However, I booked because the listing said cooking and barbecue were allowed, and at check-in a middle-aged man wearing glasses gave a very unpleasant reception. I will not go into the exact details, but even if he was an acquaintance of the owner, that kind of attitude toward guests is inappropriate. I was pregnant and had come to Sokcho for a prenatal trip, and I had to hold back my anger and swearing, which made me physically tense. Of course guests should follow the house rules, but blaming the guest for not calling in advance and citing different rules than the listing is unacceptable. The owner came and calmed the situation, but we ended up booking a nearby paid campsite and went out to eat. Apart from this incident, everything was very nice. The Cheongcho Lake night view is pretty, there was no noise, and the whirlpool tub is very large. We stayed in the family suite, which is just right for couples or friends.
The location is really good and the facilities are decent, but the reception from the middle-aged man at the desk wearing glasses was very disappointing.
I've stayed at many places. This was one I went to because of good reviews... (I'll spare my words). I recommended it and brought my friends, but I won't go again. I didn't take a single photo.
It was clean, parking was convenient, and I liked it. However, the bathroom trash can had not been emptied.
Clean and there was an air purifier. I had a comfortable rest~
The bathtub is spacious and the facilities are really neat! The owner is kind, and I stayed comfortably for a 1 night 2 day trip. The view beyond the window is nice and the room is really pretty :) I'll stay here again if I come to Sokcho next time! haha

3-night, 4-day trip to Sokcho I booked this accommodation for 3 nights. From the moment I entered the room on the first evening, there was a persistent fishy smell near the head of the bed. The next day I reported this to the front desk, and the staff replaced the bed cover. However, the smell did not improve at all, and the next night the fishy odor was still strongly present in the room. As a result, it was difficult to relax comfortably throughout the stay because of the unpleasant smell. More than the problem itself, I was disappointed by the response after I raised the issue. It would have been better if they had inspected the room themselves or offered a room change, so I was disappointed that a sufficient response was not provided. I understand facility issues can happen anytime. But I hope they check guest complaints more carefully and respond more proactively in the future.
Had a good rest, thank you.
The interior feels dated compared to the outside. The bed is comfortable, and the bathroom hot and cold water pressure is good. There are many restaurants and Cheongchoho Park nearby, so it is convenient to access. I would consider staying here again if I return to Sokcho.
