Haeundae Sunset Hotel

It's right in front of Haeundae Beach, so you only have to cross one road to get to the beach. The price is reasonable so it's not a burden. Even without a car, it's not far from the subway station, so getting around is convenient. The view might be a city view. There is a laundry room but only one machine, so you have to go elsewhere; the hotel's laundry prices are about the same as nearby coin laundromats, so there's no need to go searching for a cheaper place. Breakfast is neat. Good value for money. During my stay I saw many foreigners coming. It looked nice.

It was hard to sleep because of noise from the Gumnam-ro event all night. The soundproofing is weak.

I stayed here while traveling to Haeundae and overall it was a very satisfying stay. The staff greeted me kindly at check-in, so my first impression was positive. They explained things in detail when I had questions, which made the stay comfortable. The remodeled room was tidy overall, and the wood-tone interior gave it a warm, cozy atmosphere. The bedding was comfortable, so it was great for a good rest, and there was a table and chair by the window where I could sit for a while to drink coffee or relax. An electric kettle, cups, and tea were provided in the room, making it convenient to have a simple drink. The bathroom was also well maintained and clean. Above all, the location was excellent. It was close to Haeundae Beach, perfect for walks, and there were many restaurants and convenience facilities nearby, making it easy to get around. It was a convenient base for sightseeing and enjoying local food. Thanks to the staff's friendly service and the convenient location, I was able to stay comfortably, and if I visit Haeundae again, I would like to stay at this hotel again. 😊

The moment I entered the room I felt a spacious, relaxed atmosphere, so my first impression was really good. Thanks to the large windows, natural light filled the room and it felt bright and pleasant, and the ocean view outside the window offered a sweeping view of the sea, giving a refreshing feeling throughout my stay. What was especially impressive was the large whirlpool tub. Through the big window beside the tub, the sea and sky opened up, creating a special atmosphere as if you were enjoying an outdoor bath inside the room. Soaking in warm water and looking at the blue sea and sky naturally relieved the fatigue of travel. There was also a chair next to the tub where you could sit comfortably, so it was nice to sit and admire the ocean view after using the whirlpool. It felt like leisurely enjoying an outdoor bath, which made the space even more memorable. The room offered a beautiful sea view and had a well-arranged space for comfortable relaxation, so it was a satisfying stay that makes me want to visit again.

Haeundae Sunset Hotel, which we chose for a family trip in Busan, was highly satisfying in many ways. The hotel’s biggest appeal is its access to the beach. Just a short walk from the property brings you to the sea, so we could easily take walks whenever we had a moment. It was a perfect location for strolling on the sand and taking photos with the kids. The surrounding area was well-equipped and convenient. There were many restaurants and cafes within walking distance, offering a wide range of menu choices, and convenience stores and shops were nearby for any necessities. Having little travel hassle during the trip was a big advantage. The rooms were designed and sized well for families. Even with several people staying, there was no discomfort, and there was plenty of space to organize luggage or relax. Overall it was well maintained and comfortable for a pleasant stay.

I stayed in a Deluxe Double this time, and the room was more spacious than I expected, so I could stay comfortably without feeling cramped. There was plenty of space even with the suitcase opened, so I had no discomfort during my stay. It was a side ocean view room, and I could see the sea quite well through the window, so I really got the Haeundae vibe. It wasn’t a full frontal ocean view, but the view was more than satisfactory. The cleanliness was excellent, and the bedding was neatly arranged, so I stayed comfortably. Above all, the location was fantastic. Being close to the beach made it great for walks, and there were many good restaurants and cafes nearby, making it very convenient to get around. Overall the location, view, and room condition were all satisfying, and it’s a place I’d like to visit again on my next trip to Busan.

The soundproofing is really bad. You can hear a neighboring dog barking loudly late at night and into the early morning. It feels like there is only a thin wooden board between the rooms. You can also frequently hear water running from the ceiling and people talking and passing by in the hallway. I can’t say the cleanliness is good. There is a lot of dust by the windows and a plastic bag rolled up in the corner of the room. In the bathtub, which kids love to fill and play in, a black powdery residue keeps appearing. It keeps coming out.
