I booked the same day; it is good value, but there is a very strong cigarette smell.

They gave me a basement room, so I was taken aback. Not even a semi-basement, but a full basement. It was very cold as soon as I went in, the floor was all worn, and the fridge was covered in mold. The bathroom was soaked and reeked of sewage. I asked to change rooms but they said there were none available, yet there were only a few cars in the parking lot... If I had known I would be sleeping in the basement, I would not have booked. The price is not even that cheap. I stayed because I had to leave early in the morning, but it was a room I never want to experience again. I could hear mechanical noise the whole time I slept, the exhaust fan never turned off, and being in the basement itself was just terrible.

I was assigned a basement room, so I'm writing this with the thought "I won't come back here." Maybe because it was underground, the air felt very stale, and although an air purifier was listed, its water tank was full so it didn't work. The owner was kind and seemed like a good person... but the condition of the building and room was very disappointing. They said it would cost an extra 5,000 won to switch to a ground-floor room, but I believe the basic environment should be met without charging extra. The room I was given had a lot of torn flooring with cement exposed, and the flooring was loose and flapped like a blanket. Soundproofing was almost nonexistent, so I could hear the next room very loudly, and I still remember the song "Square Dream" that the neighboring room played on repeat for three hours... In conclusion, it might be okay if you really only need a place to sleep and endure it, but I cannot recommend it. The owner was kind, but the room condition was very disappointing. I felt there was a reason it was so cheap. Also, being assigned a basement room was frustrating—the elevator location was confusing and the floor signage was hard to understand, so I wandered around for a while. I hope they manage things more from the guest's perspective.

I didn't know the floors differed by price. I was surprised that the 1st floor meant having to go to a basement room, and even more shocked that there was no signal in the room at all... Calls and data didn't work :( Still, I used it because it was cheap. For those going, take note!
