Yeonhwamun Hotel Yeongdeok

Why did I only find out now?

We decided to take a family trip to Yeongdeok, searched and made a reservation... I thought the price was a bit high compared to the facilities, but the staff were friendly, and the room's hinoki bath, the evening BBQ & unlimited beer, and breakfast made it completely worthwhile.

I had a comfortable and restful stay.

I didn't expect much, but I left with very good memories. The night view from the wooden structure in the room was the best, and the morning semi-buffet was so delicious—I want to go again. I came because of the reviews; many people end up disappointed, but don't worry and definitely give it a try.

We visited for our anniversary. I love the scent of hinoki cypress so much that I had been watching this place for a long time. We stayed two nights over a weekend and holiday, so the cost was quite high. The staff member on duty during the day (a gentleman) was extremely kind, so we even gave him the cake we received from Hilton ^^ My husband and I had so much fun and slept very well ♡ Breakfast ^^ was really clean and excellent.

Overall it looked clean. However, in the lobby there were water streaks as if the construction was unfinished, and while dining water would occasionally drip from the fountain, which seemed to lower the hotel's quality. It was unlucky that our stay coincided with construction, so we couldn't drain the hinoki bath and left the water as it was; the humidity forced us to ventilate several times, which was inconvenient. Parking inside the building was also inconvenient because you have to get wet if it rains.

The ocean view was really refreshing and the hinoki bath was great. The room was clean, and although I did self check-in, they upgraded our room so the four-person room was very spacious and we used it comfortably. All the breakfast menu items were really tasty, and the beef radish soup was especially delicious ^^ There is a large convenience store right next door and the fish market is nearby, so we had a great time and rested well. Note that the refrigerator does not have a freezer!

Cleanliness, service, and the view are all perfect. Breakfast was perfect too. I definitely plan to return.

It was a great place to relax. I want to visit again.
