Sancheong Seoul

First, I was surprised that check-in was at 7 PM. We were allowed in because of our circumstances, but the room was so poorly soundproofed that we could hear everything people said, and my wife couldn't sleep. Then around 7 AM they started making loud cleaning noises, so we couldn't rest. It was Saturday and we wanted to get up slowly, but around 8 the intercom kept ringing. We didn't answer and left it alone. Who calls to wake you up in the morning? A little later someone started banging on the door hard. They told us to check out. Ah—when I checked the reservation it said check-out was 10 AM. Usually it's 11, sigh. Anyway, it was only 8 AM and I yelled asking why they were knocking on the door. They knocked from outside and answered that it wasn’t 10? We hadn't slept properly; do they expect us to leave on our own so early in the morning? In decades of travel this is the first time this happened 😢 Anyway, when we went out and looked at the parking lot it was almost empty—maybe they had chased people out, because there were hardly any cars. We came on a trip to relax and left feeling terrible instead. It was my first time in Sancheong. We had taken a big trip from Chungcheong, but we only experienced the harsh hospitality of Sancheong.
