Take Hotel Seoul Gwangmyeong

The scent is nice and I always have a good rest.

It was clean, fragrant, and I liked it very much!! Next time I plan to visit for 2 nights and 3 days.

I really liked it. I had a good rest and am leaving feeling refreshed.

I booked because of the hospital and only then realized there were single rooms. The multi-room setup has separate rooms so I stayed comfortably for one night. At check-in they said no one had checked into the single room I reserved, but there was so little noise you could not tell whether other guests were there or not, which was nice. If you want to enjoy a quiet solo hotel stay, I highly recommend it.

The view toward Gwangmyeong Station is not blocked, breakfast is decent, and the rooms are well maintained and clean. The pool is fairly large and not claustrophobic. It is right next to AK, with restaurants next to the hotel, Gwangmyeong Cave nearby, Gwangmyeong Market, and the distance to Dodeoksan is also convenient.

The facilities were good, but the soundproofing was a bit disappointing.

The service and the rooms were both excellent.

I visited during the March 1st holiday weekend. KTX Gwangmyeong Station is a 5-minute walk away, so the accessibility is great, and it is connected to AK Plaza, making shopping and dining convenient. Ikea and Costco are only a 5-minute drive away, so the location is really good. The mobile smart key lets you handle check-in, the elevator, and room access, so you can use it comfortably without going to the front desk. The room was clean and fairly spacious with a king bed plus a single bed, so it was comfortable for three people. It has a station view, so you can see trains passing by, which I think kids would like even more. The fitness center is open 24 hours and the infinity pool is free to use! I heard it will be rebranded to L7 Gwangmyeong by Lotte Hotel starting March 26. I am curious about the post-rebranding look and would like to visit again.
