Grand Bern Hotel, Yeongdo, Busan

It's clean and convenient to use, comfortable, and the staff are friendly~ One downside is that there is a pool, so if you leave water standing the humidity is intense... After a while it smells like stagnant pool water, so that's a drawback. 😢😢

My child loves water play, so I looked for a hotel where they could play. Since we were checking in late I asked if they could fill the pool in advance, and they said they would, so fortunately we arrived and could enjoy the water right away!! My husband says he wants to come back to this place next time haha

The staff were super kind! I also loved that the toilet and shower were separate and that it was very clean, but there was a buzzing sound in the early morning that woke me up a few times. Other than that, everything was great — location is good too.

I stayed multiple nights and rested comfortably. Parking is convenient and it's close to downtown and Taejongdae, so it's good for traveling.

There weren't many recent reviews on Yanolja, so I was a bit worried before booking, but after staying here I was really satisfied! The view from the room was nice and the staff are friendly 😊 They offered luggage storage, breakfast was okay, and there was a bed guard which made it good for staying with a child 👍 Most of all, the location was really convenient! It was easy to get to Busan Station, Nampo-dong, Jagalchi, the National Maritime Museum, Taejongdae, Haeundae, Gwangalli, etc., so it was convenient for traveling around Busan! I've been proudly recommending this place to friends and acquaintances who have young children haha. I stayed 2 nights and 3 days but liked it so much I extended one more night in a family room. The family room was good for adults, and the kids room definitely felt like a space designed for children 😄👍 I go to Busan every six months, and I'd like to stay here again next time. I hope this helps anyone hesitant because there weren't many recent reviews 😄

Second visit — I traveled alone and was able to rest comfortably.

This was a place my baby loved so much! I went after reading reviews; having a pool in the room was great, but I was shocked by the surrounding condition 😢 The bathtub was so-so, but the curtain really scared me — it was full of mold and I wished they would at least wipe it a little. It felt a bit expensive for a Friday stay. Aside from those issues, I was satisfied with the jungle gym, breakfast, and the bed guard.

I was worried, thinking "what if the photos were just well taken?" But wow — it looks exactly like the pictures and is very clean! There is a bed guard so I could safely put my baby to sleep. Oh, but since there is a pool, it gets humid if you leave the water running, so if they had a dehumidifier this would be the best accommodation in the country 👍 Had a great time.

The room was spacious and the bathtub was large, which I liked. This is a place I want to come back to.
