I booked about 3–4 days before departure with low expectations, but I was so satisfied that I'm leaving a long review for the first time. I even wrote a blog post, so I'll excerpt some of it here! <Jajaknamu Hotel Features & Advantages> 1. The location is literally about a 5-minute walk to Gyeongpo Beach. It was great to walk to the sea and also convenient to visit Ocean Gym. There are many restaurants along the beach line, so getting around was easy. 2. The room is really spacious. When traveling, if the accommodation is cramped, just unpacking a little can feel chaotic and make you want to get out quickly. But at this Gangneung Jakaknamu Hotel the room space was very generous, so even I, who usually dislike eating in the room, could comfortably spend time there. 3. There is no extra charge for additional guests. Many other places set the standard occupancy at two people even in rooms with beds for three or more and charge over 20,000 won for extra guests, but Jakaknamu Hotel sets the base occupancy at three, which reduces the financial burden. 4. Even though it is an unmanned hotel, the service was meticulous and there were no inconveniences, and the responses were very kind. As mentioned above, they provided extra cleaning and amenities, and were very friendly on the phone. Uniquely, each bed had an electric heating pad installed, which I learned was because the building uses a central heating system and they installed them for guests who might feel cold. Seeing attention to such small details made me trust the other aspects as well. It was very nice, and next time I'll definitely come back with my family. Wishing the owner great success!
