Gangneung Gyeongpodae Greenpeace

I think this is the best value near Gyeongpodae. I visited twice, one month apart.

Because of work I traveled to many places on business and discovered this place. I think I'll settle here. The water dispenser on the guest floors is really nice. The room is good and the staff are friendly.

The water pressure/flow is really great. Good.

They kindly welcomed me even though I checked in late at night. I appreciated that, and the host was considerate so I was able to rest comfortably. I stayed on the fifth floor; the balcony was bigger than I expected and had a nice vibe. Since it's the season, I was a bit disappointed I couldn't open the window because of mosquitoes. I could hear music from a nearby club loudly in the underground parking, but it was not very bothersome in the room. In the early morning the water pressure and temperature were both good, but during peak shower times it fluctuated, which was a little awkward. The interior shows signs of age here and there, but their friendliness, the convenient location, and the refreshing balcony where you can even see swallows more than made up for it. My family was all satisfied, so we'll use this place again on our next trip to Gangneung.

It was different from the photos. For a cost-effective day-use, it's fine.

I stayed here while bicycling on a trip! Mr. Nam, the owner, was truly really sincerely very kind. I bothered him a few times, but he treated me with a consistently friendly attitude, and I am grateful. I will also leave a review on my blog! Next time I plan to bring my parents!! · Room temperature I get cold easily and was worried about the night temperature, but I slept warmly and well! There is an air conditioner available, so if you get hot you can turn on the AC. · Bathroom This place provides conditioner!!! Water pressure is good! However, the water temperature sometimes fluctuates between warm and hot, so if you are washing a child, please check the water temperature with your hand while washing. · Soundproofing I saw reviews of nearby accommodations saying parties made a lot of noise, so I was prepared for that since this place is nearby, but to my surprise the soundproofing is excellent and I slept like a baby!!! · Amenities There is a convenience store right in front of the accommodation, and thanks to other guests' recommendations I also tried Choi Ilsun Sundubu-jjigae. I recommend this biketel to people doing the East Coast route. (I recommend asking in advance about storage locations.) · Things to see At night, go to the Heo Nanseolheon Pine Forest to see the ongoing media art, and enjoy the night view of Gyeongpo Lake! If you came without a bicycle, you can rent one nearby and get around faster than walking. If you are collecting National Cultural Heritage stamps, the Gwandong Pungnyu Trail is quick to ride by bicycle. Thanks to this month's visit campaign, you can also get gift certificates! · Other There is parking underground and outside, and on weekends if the lot is full there are many places to park in the alleys. If you come by bicycle, you can take the basement level 1 parking and ride the elevator up to the lobby, or come through the back gate to avoid stairs! Also, I really liked that ramen is provided free once!

I think there's a guesthouse right nearby. It's noisy, not recommended.

Very friendly staff. The instant ramen you cook yourself is excellent.
