I understand that lofts are hard to maintain, but there was a lot of dust :(. Still, the loft was good for a family of four. I wish a mattress topper had been provided for the bedding.

I stayed one night here on a trip to Seoul with friends. The night before we had slept at a jjimjilbang, but with the extra fees and other charges it ended up costing more than this place, so I really regretted not booking this place for two nights instead ㅠㅠ It was very clean and the air conditioning worked well, so it was cool. I turned on the AC and opened the window briefly to air the room, and instead of a view of a wall it opened up to the whole neighborhood, so it felt great. Even though I booked in advance through Yanolja, it seemed like we needed to contact them separately to add extra people, so I sent the extra person and bedding fees by bank transfer and a staff member came in five minutes to pick up the bedding. There was no separate front desk, so I guess someone lives in the building. The fridge was spacious, and there was a microwave and a sink, so it was convenient for eating simple convenience store food. It felt perfect for hanging out with friends. There was a mart, a convenience store, and a discounted ice cream shop nearby, so it felt like we were all living together and made good memories. Since it was a weekday, there didn’t seem to be other guests nearby and it was quiet. With the windows closed you couldn’t even hear the cars from the main road, not to mention any noise between floors or walls. If I need a place to stay in Seoul again, I think I’ll come back here.
Everything was fine, but the phone response was disappointing.
I stayed at Sadang Plex Residence last week and was so satisfied—beyond my expectations—that I came back to stay again for the remainder of this business trip! I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a clean, comfortable place near Sadang or to fellow business travelers. [Comfortable duplex layout that makes excellent use of space and twin beds] This time I stayed in a room with two beds. As soon as I walked in I felt the openness thanks to the high ceiling, which was a big plus. The lofted layout made the upstairs bedroom feel cozy, so I could fully relax and get a good night’s sleep after work. Having two beds made the stay feel more spacious and comfortable. The lower level was laid out like a living room, so I could handle light work or just relax comfortably the whole time. Because the spaces are separated, it never felt cramped and I truly felt pampered while resting. [Excellent access and surrounding infrastructure ideal for business travelers] The location was also top-notch. It’s adjacent to Sadang Station, so it’s easy to get to other meeting locations, and the area is full of restaurants, cafes, and conveniences. I could take care of meals and downtime right inside the block without having to go far, so my movements were very efficient. During a tiring business itinerary, I can’t imagine a better location. [Thoughtful conveniences and an impressive room condition] Part of why I returned was the host’s kindness and attentive care. They responded very quickly to requests and messages, and they were flexible and considerate from the guest’s perspective, which was touching. The interior cleanliness, furniture, and bedding were spotless, and basic amenities were well supplied, so I could relax as comfortably as if I were at home. Overall, the space, surrounding infrastructure, and service were all perfect. It was excellent enough to make consecutive visits during my trip, and if I have reason to come to the Sadang area again, I will 200% return here without hesitation!
The subway station was very close, so it was really convenient and nice. There were many restaurants nearby so we didn’t have to worry about meals. We stayed multiple nights but the cleaning was a bit iffy. It would be nice to have a small vacuum or broom in the room. I will use it again next time.
I was shocked to find a huge bloodstain on the mattress under the sheet.
Clean and a loft layout with lots of places to eat nearby, so it would have been great if we were just on vacation. But since we came for a health check at a nearby hospital, it was very difficult. Because it is a loft, we had to keep going up and down to use the bathroom, and although there is a table on the first floor that is fine for simple meals, we needed a sofa to rest and that was hard. Overall it is narrow and tall so it felt cramped, but I think younger people these days might like it.
It is a loft layout and when you go up the stairs there is a TV, a bed, and an air conditioner. I liked that there was no smell of cigarettes and the comforter was fluffy. However, I did not receive the check-in information text even on the morning of check-in, so I had to get it through Yanolja. This was the first time this happened and it was awkward. I hope this is improved.
Clean and good value. Convenient to use since there are no hotels near Isu Station.
Correction Looking at the replies to every critical review, they consistently respond as if they are blameless and the guest did something wrong — their replies are full of lies. Be sure to check low-rated reviews and think carefully before booking. About 90% of their responses are lies. I sent the call recording from KakaoTalk and a comparison between the pictures provided at booking and the actual room. We were in a hurry and I had an elementary school child with me, so I chose the accommodation carefully. I originally booked the Deluxe Double Room (from the photos it was a first-floor double bed with a loft sofa bed), and I received a text message assigning a room. Later they suddenly said something and asked for understanding because they would assign a different room than the one first assigned, so I accepted it. When we checked in I was really shocked. There was no double bed on the first floor, and there was no sofa bed in the loft. There was only a single mattress in the loft. I was unsettled, but since there was nowhere to move late at night, we decided to stay. When I said there were three people, they told me to pay an extra person fee of 15,000 won. What was more upsetting was that the bedding that should have been provided when paying the extra person fee required an additional 10,000 won for bedding. I decided to let it go and paid that too. But the extra bedding they gave was a single, extremely thin blanket that you could not even comfortably sleep on if you laid it on the floor. My outraged wife told me, and we realized this was a completely different accommodation than the one we had booked. My wife got the phone number and I contacted the owner. When I raised the issue that the room was different from the one booked, the response I received was effectively “if you don’t like it, get out.” When I protested, they even swore at me with extremely abusive language. That was the final insult; I have rarely heard such severe profanity in my life. When I asked where the sofa bed was, their attitude—saying that there are chairs on the first floor and a sofa is just a chair so a chair should be fine—was almost playful compared to the rest. Left alone in a place where I had been subjected to verbal abuse and threats, I stayed there, and my wife who remained at the accommodation stayed awake almost all night for fear of retaliation. I provided the call recording to Yanolja and also filed a police report.
