Yangyang (Hajodae) Won Resort Motel

The ocean view is awesome!!!

I was visiting on a business trip; the room was adequate and it offers good value for the price.

The first photo is the sunset view from the lighthouse across from the accommodation, and the second photo is the sunrise view from the accommodation. It’s a great place to see both sunrise and sunset. I booked in a hurry and chose based only on value, but in the end I was very satisfied. The location is very quiet and peaceful, and it’s close to Hajodae, Jukdo Beach, and Hyuhyuam. There is a harbor and a beach right in front; the beach is a bit small, but there are photo spots here and there, a camping area, and plenty of parking. The room was generally clean. It had two bunk beds, a TV, a mini fridge, air conditioning, and an electric heating pad, but there wasn’t a table for putting and eating food, which was a bit inconvenient. The room felt a bit small compared to the bathroom. The bunk beds are metal, a bit low, and squeaky. Sensitive people might find them uncomfortable, but at this price a family of four could each sleep separately, so it was perfect for our family. There is no elevator; a microwave and water purifier are on the first floor. The counter is mostly unattended, but the owner comes out right away if you make a sound. About a 5-minute walk toward the lighthouse there is a GS25, and there’s also a GS25 at the 38 Line rest area, so it wasn’t inconvenient. I walked toward the lighthouse in the morning to catch the sunrise, which was good exercise and refreshing. There’s a seafood stall run by the local fishing cooperative right in front; the food is decent and it’s open until 2 a.m., so I might try it again on a future visit.

Parking was convenient, Netflix was available, and I slept warmly and comfortably ^^

It's right in front of a small harbor, so it has a quaint charm.

The room had strong drafts and hot water barely came out. I had to wash my hair with cold water... There was no comb... No phone or intercom, so I couldn't even make a complaint. Seriously, there wasn't even the most common comb... It feels like they don't want to do business here... They should just not run this place~~~
