The owner is friendly. Light breakfast is nice. The facilities are old, but that makes it inexpensive (based on Suan standard). Since it is on a bicycle touring route, the ability to do laundry is a plus. There are basic tools for self-repairing bicycles. Because it is a tourist area, there are many nearby places to eat unless it is very late at night.
I stopped by while doing a cross-country bike tour and all my fatigue disappeared.
I was assigned Ondol room for 4 with a bathtub, room 108, and it was truly the worst. It was a holiday and nearby accommodations around Suanbo seemed fully booked on every platform, so it was hard to find another place and we checked in. First, the cleanliness of the room was a mess. After checking in I tried to ventilate the room and tore off the windbreak plastic on the window frame, only to find the frame full of bugs... The floor had not been properly cleaned—if you ran your hand over it, dust and women’s hair would stick to your hand. Also, the grout between the floor tiles was unfinished, and quite a bit of debris had collected in those gaps. We put down two folded mats and lay down, but I felt itchy at night. The cosmetics on the dressing table were covered in dust on the bottles and the expiration dates were over two years past. The bathroom was unbelievable. There were hairs stuck all over the bathtub, and the showerhead and faucet looked like they had not been cleaned in ages—really filthy. The spa switch was broken and would not work... So much for soaking in the tub to relax... On top of that, there was a sewer smell coming up that seeped into the room even with the door closed, which made the whole stay unpleasant. I could hear the voices from the upper floor and the sound of water from the restroom very loudly. Even though it rained that evening and the temperature dropped, I woke up at dawn feeling cold because the heating was not on at all. Can I recommend someone pay 90,000 won to stay in a room like this? I was very tired and only planned to sleep one night, so I gritted my teeth and spent the night. Other than the owner and staff being kind, the breakfast, and the 4,000 won discount coupon for Nakwon Spa, I left with mostly bad memories. I have not used a bed room here so I don’t know if those are any better, but I kept wondering if they would be like this. I am not leaving this review with malice—please, owner, clean and fix the room I used before accepting the next guest.
I happened to stay here during my national bike tour, but it seems to be a place with memories. The owner is really kind. I missed breakfast this time, but next time I will definitely eat it. They give a hot spring coupon, and the hot spring is really nice.
I had a great rest thanks to the friendly owner.
If friends are going to Suanbo Hot Springs? You should book this hotel without hesitation. If you stay you can have a simple breakfast, there is a natural hot spring right in front, the location is good, and barbecue is available. The rooms are spacious and above all the owner is very kind. It was the best experience.
This is my third visit~ Every time I come I get a deep rest. The room was warm so I slept very well and felt refreshed. They give a simple breakfast in the morning~ I woke up early to eat it lol The owner is so kind and nice^^ The day passed in the blink of an eye~
It's the best. The owner is incredibly kind, the hot spring water and breakfast were wonderful. While on my trek I was able to properly recover, and I was touched that the owner tried to give me an extra egg. Next time, even if it's not during a trek, I plan to come again with my wife. Thank you!
It's good. In Suanbo I went to the hot spring and also ate samgyeopsal.
