I had an absolutely absurd, worst-ever experience. 1. When I booked the room, the check-in/out times were confirmed as 15:00–12:00. 2. I checked in around 19:00. 3. After staying one night, the next morning around 10:00 I heard someone knocking and a voice as if someone was visiting (I was already awake and lying in bed at that time). 4. There is an outer door and an inner door, so I couldn’t tell if they were knocking on my door or a different room. 5. Just in case, I opened the inner door and asked, “Is something wrong?” but there was no answer. 6. After that I heard loud banging on the door several more times, so I opened it to check, but no one was there. 7. I heard noises like cleaning from the next room and assumed they were checking and cleaning a room that had already been vacated, so I let it go. 8. Around 10:30 I started getting ready to check out. 9. The phone in the room rang and I picked up, but either the phone was broken or the voice could not be heard. The phone rang twice in total. 10. Then I took a shower and started packing. 11. Suddenly a woman started pounding on the door and shouting aggressively, asking how many times she had to wake me up. She left after yelling. When I opened the door, no one was there. 12. I looked around and found an older woman cleaning in what looked like the laundry area. 13. I politely asked, “Is there a problem?” 14. The woman responded very aggressively, saying things like what time it was and why I wasn’t up. 15. I told her I still had plenty of time before checkout and that I had already been awake for hours and was ready to leave immediately. I asked what the problem was. 16. She insisted that it was common sense to be up and preparing hours before checkout and scolded me. 17. I said I didn’t understand: I paid for the reservation and can prepare to leave up to the contracted checkout time, so why should I be scolded? What is the standard for how early I must be ready? 18. She wouldn’t communicate, kept repeating the same thing, and then absurdly argued that because I checked in early I should leave early (I actually checked in late). 19. When I said I was already ready to leave, she told me to just get out with no apology (this was around 11:30). If you need someone to report waking up two hours before checkout, then keep that person at the front desk. Ridiculous.
Even though the price was low, the room was clean so I liked it. I think I'll stay here often when I'm in Jeonju for a few days.
They were friendly and I slept well. Thanks.
The price is great and I like the freshness of the park right in front! The night view is amazing! However, there are what look like scorch marks on the floor, and the lighting is dim, which can feel a bit scary.
This is fucking awful, seriously. Calling this a place to stayor real nd it's not a motel, it's an inn.
I went without expectations, and the facilities were nicer than places that are only called hotels.
It's just fine. I like that it's close to Deokjin Park.
