Jeongseon Galaxy

No words needed. The food is hearty and the lodging is excellent. I slept in the ondol room; you can control the temperature yourself, and my back felt much better.

This is the best. Great value for the price. The building is old, but on B1 the owner provides gomtang and rice that you can eat freely (you can save on meal costs, you do not have to starve, and it’s perfect to eat heartily before going out). Great for solo travelers, friends, or family. Also recommended for couples, although if a couple only wants a lovey-dovey fancy place they might reconsider. I think the cost-performance is top-notch, so I visit every year.
