I had a good, restful stay. There was a long hair on the bed.
I booked at the last minute. It was basically an old motel, but at least it was available and I was able to use it fine.
Overall it was worth staying.
It smelled terribly and felt like a boarding house. They overcharged me 200,000 won just because it was Saturday; this is highway robbery. The room was different from the photos, and the owner, an elderly man, had no manners. When I asked for an extra blanket he left it on the floor by the door and went away. The blanket smelled damp like it hadn’t been properly washed, I felt sticky even after showering the next day. This was the worst trip to Gangneung. Even one star feels wasted. I don’t even want to upload photos — the room is that bad. It was cold, and when one room remained it was 160,000 won but soon jumped to 180,000 won... Truly a trashy room near Gyeongpodae.
100 meters from the beach entrance, city bus terminal. Check-in is at 3 PM and check-out is at 11 AM. All rooms are equipped with bathtubs and bidets. Anyone can use the laundry room on the 6th floor.
Twin rooms accommodate 2 people (base) up to 4 people. Ondol rooms accommodate 2 people (base) up to 4 people... Additional hours are 10,000 won per hour. Additional guests are 20,000 won per person. Non-refundable.
