Yeongdeok Donghae Marine Tourist Hotel

I booked in a hurry, but the facilities are quite old.

The building is old The room is old The bathroom is old. But... considering the price, well... it's okay for one night.

The view is nice and the owner was friendly, so it was good. On the first floor you can conveniently buy snacks.

Ugh... this is the worst accommodation of my life; I don't even want to leave one star. From the entrance there was neglected trash and the facilities looked abandoned, like a haunted house.. They advertised ocean view, but when I opened the window there was a torn insect screen and piles of dust.. The cleanliness was so bad that I immediately cleaned the floor and the bathroom.... When you shower dust clumps fall from the ventilation fan. There was no body wash and the shampoo looked diluted with water... On the bed there were spiders.... I understand the facilities are aging, but the owner has no conscience to accept reservations with such filthy hygiene.

Even though it was a holiday and they said there were no rooms, the price was too expensive and other reviews said it was like a grim mountain inn, and that description is spot on. They call it a hotel but it's at the level of a rural guesthouse. I was afraid something would come out of the room so I couldn't sleep properly. There was nowhere else to stay nearby. I would rather sleep in the car; I don't think I'll ever go back. If you see the posted photos and still want the experience, then go ahead.

This is really my first time writing a review!!! I went into the accommodation and found hair on the pillow and caught two big spiders, and when I saw the cobwebs on the ceiling I was terrified, so I immediately booked another place and left. I absolutely could not sleep. I saw reviews saying it was cheap and not bad so I went, but it was the worst. I decided to think of the money as lost rather than ask for a refund, then paid a bit more and went to a nicer place. Be grateful you left quietly without swearing. Owner, this is really not okay!!!

It is clean and warm. I like it.

Considering the location... if you want a place to relax for a while, I highly recommend it... Right in front you can see the wide ocean... There are plenty of food options nearby... It is a place I want to visit again... I want to come back next time...
