Cheongsong Baekwoonjang Motel

Clean and extremely satisfied!!!

I booked last minute for a trip to Cheongsong and had a wonderful stay! The bedding and towels were clean and fluffy, amenities were well stocked, and the view of the river and Cheongsong outside the window was as nice as any resort. We stayed 2 nights and it was my first time seeing a motel offer turndown service! After sightseeing the room was fully cleaned, bedding arranged, and fresh towels... The nearby large resort might be nice, but this place is very convenient to attractions and the facilities are on par with a resort. If I come to Cheongsong again, I will definitely stay at BaekunJang~ Photo is the view out the window from the room!!

It's a mountain village in Cheongsong, so I had low expectations, but I was impressed that the place was cleaner and in better condition than places in Seoul. They did not charge extra for disposables and the brands were the same ones you use in Seoul. These days it seems the provinces are better maintained, haha. Since I was traveling on foot and there were no coin lockers, I had nowhere to leave my luggage and had to make an awkward request, but the owner helped me very kindly and I was moved. If I come to Cheongsong again, I will only stay here!! The rural bus stop is very close!! There were some laborers gathered on the first floor which looked scary, but it turned out there is just a staffing agency on another floor of the building—note this if a woman is staying alone!

I go to Cheongsong often and I think I have used this place about three times. It was fine to use. While showering the drain was clogged so I was a bit surprised, but I ended up opening the cover and removing the debris myself, haha. Staff are friendly and it is fairly clean.

Clean and comfortable. I liked that popcorn was available to use freely.

Clean and all amenities deserve top marks. The hot water worked well and there were no major issues with soundproofing. If I come to Cheongsong again, I will stay here without hesitation.

The location is good, the parking lot is nearby, and I think it is the perfect place to explore the area on foot.

It was clean, quiet, and excellent.
