I booked a short-stay. When I checked in they confirmed the reservation first. Usually they give a card key and you enter, but this was kind of complicated. They also checked my ID card in person—do they normally verify it like that? I used the short-stay and left it tidy, so how did they know my personal information? The next day someone called, owner or part-timer, and asked about my check-out, which puzzled me. Is it normal to call a guest who used a short-stay to tell them to check out? I got a call from an unknown number and felt uneasy; they should strengthen personal data protection. The service was terrible. It is not like I went to the police station, but they spoke as if they were conducting an investigation. It felt strange. I thought this place had a reputation for being friendly, but it was not.
