Sokcho Secret

The place is old and there was noise all night, but it was good value and I slept well.

I went to Sokcho on short notice... I booked late at night without reading reviews... it's the worst. The interior is seriously outdated and there is no soundproofing at all. It's midwinter and they did not turn on the heating; I almost froze. I couldn't ask because staff had already left for the night, but shouldn't they at least keep the heating on when guests are staying? I tolerated it because it was New Year's and I just wanted a room, but before checking out I found the corpse of a huge cockroach in a corner and it ruined my appetite. If you are running a business, at least maintain basic standards. I would not stay here even for 30,000 won.
