Hotel Hound Gangneung Gyeongpo

The room was a bit small, but Gangmun Beach was really close and the rooftop was pretty. I only found out after checking in that basic toiletries are not provided for free and must be purchased from a vending machine downstairs; that was disappointing. The central market is a 10-minute drive away.

The hotel lobby, service, and surrounding environment were all great. Especially the pine grove path right in front of the hotel was perfect for a walk.

I stayed with my parents. Both of them slept comfortably for the night, and we enjoyed a neat and tasty breakfast. It was so nice to have the sea right in front of us. We had a great stay.

All the staff were friendly, the waiting area was spacious, and the accommodation was wonderful. It was clean with no odors and the view was excellent!

This was my first solo trip; I was satisfied with the facilities, and the managers at the front desk were so kind that I had a great experience!! If I come to Gangneung again, I would like to stay here again!

The front desk staff who assisted guests were so kind, I loved it!! The bed hugged my body and I slept really well. I stayed here with my mother for a hotel staycation, and we were very satisfied!! Is there any way to get information about the latex pillow....?🥲 It was soft without being uncomfortable and the height was just right, so I really liked it.. hehe It was a pillow I really wanted!

Wow~~ It's a bit away from Gangmun Beach, but that made it more secluded and quiet, which I liked. It was a twin room so that was nice, and I was happy with the ocean view. Breakfast was served beautifully with only the really tasty items, so I enjoyed it. If you reserve breakfast there is a wine service. I regret not going to the rooftop—definitely coming back!!
