Hyeondaeu Resort Hoengseong

From Dunnae-eup you have to go a long way along a remote road to get there. Location: one star (if you go at night there are almost no lights on the way to find it) The price is reasonable. The room size and facilities are okay for the price. Check-in cutoff is 6 PM. After that, the staff leave and are not there. Please keep that in mind when arriving (they did not notify me in advance so I was very surprised).

I've been a few times; it's really great.

The facilities are old, but for large families or gatherings it's good value for the price ^^

It felt a bit like an older resort, but it was still fine!

It was a pleasant trip with my family. The accommodation is warm and nice.

The room is nice except for the farm road entrance, hill parking, and the steep stairs.

Cell service is spotty and the front desk is far away, but it still has its charm!

The front desk staff provided very kind and helpful guidance. The place is spacious and pleasant. Great value for money. Highly recommended if you're going with friends. However, even with all the windows closed at night, wind comes in and it gets cold. Also, the hot water doesn't come out well. In the morning before checkout I was showering, and I'm not sure if they were staff, but someone tried to open the door and come in. There were more than 30 minutes left until checkout and they were just pushy. If the door hadn't been locked, they probably would have come in. Overall, seems good for the price.
