We booked two rooms and went on a couples trip. It was located between Gyeongpodae and Sageunjin, so we rode a scooter and got around well. However, it is difficult to go out to eat without a car. The room was clean.
The soundproofing is poor.... I can hear the next room clearly :(

It was a budget-friendly accommodation close to the sea.
Great value for money. It looked a bit dated, but the bedding was clean and it was well maintained. I slept well.
Overall it's good, but because it's unmanned, it's a bit inconvenient when you need something.
There was no rinsing cup in the shower. I assume they did not leave one for hygiene reasons. There is no individual electric kettle in the room, but there is a shared kettle and microwave outside, so it was not too inconvenient. If only those who need them use the shared ones, I think it is better for the environment than placing one in every room. The usual toiletry set provided in standard models is not available, but a toothbrush and toothpaste were provided. Also, note that the room TV is smaller compared to other hotels. The price is cheaper than the neighboring hotel, so I think this is acceptable. For a short stay just to sleep, it should be fine. There is no elevator, so if you bring large luggage, a first-floor room would be better. Room assignment might be possible if there is availability. And the parking lot is spacious. It takes about 10 minutes to walk to Gyeongpo Lake, or about 5 minutes if you run. I booked this hotel to run around Gyeongpo Lake. A short walk will take you to Gangneung specialties like sundubu restaurants and other places to eat. Keep in mind many restaurants close after 9 PM.
This was my first time and I loved it.
Perfect just for sleeping. It's a bit worn, but that is how the accommodations around here are. I rested well at an affordable price.
The place was very clean and nice. There was a bit of draft, but we were a family of four and the bed was large and comfortable. Each floor had coffee and a water purifier, which was nice. I think we will use it often.
Free Wi-Fi is available in all rooms.
Netflix (for those with an account) is available for viewing.
Water purifiers, microwaves, and electric kettles are available on each floor.
Air conditioning is for cooling only. 2nd-floor rooms have electric heating (individually adjustable).
All rooms operate with an unmanned system (kiosk) without a front desk.

All rooms are based on a 2-person rate, with an additional 10,000 KRW for one extra person (only immediate family members, including infants, are allowed for additional guests).
Reservations for 3 or more people are only for immediate family, and 2 people for couples (cancellation possible after on-site verification).
No extra guests allowed.
No entry for anyone other than the initial reserved guests (outside visitors are not allowed, 24-hour CCTV monitoring).
Check-in: from 4 PM Check-out: 11 AM regardless of check-in time (additional fee for extra time: 20,000 KRW per hour).
Pets are not allowed.
Minors are not allowed without a guardian (no refund for attempted entry after reservation).
This facility is a non-smoking area (eviction measures will be taken for indoor smoking).
Strong-smelling food is strictly prohibited in the room (e.g., snow crab, red crab).
Please refrain from drinking alcohol and making loud noises for the sake of other guests.
