I came to Gyeongpodae on a trip and stopped by by chance Good value for money and the facilities were clean, so I was able to rest comfortably.
It is extremely clean. I think the secret to that cleanliness is bleach. As soon as I entered the room the smell of bleach hit me hard. The bathroom and the room still smelled strongly of bleach even with the air conditioner on. It felt like my respiratory system might get damaged. When I rinsed the bathroom with the shower it got a bit better, so maybe it wasn't rinsed properly. I turned the air conditioner on but had to turn it off because the bleach smell was too strong, and the room smell was so bad that I slept with the window open all night. Proper rinsing and good ventilation would probably make a big difference.

The standard occupancy for all rooms except pension-type rooms (4 people) is 2 people
Check-in time: 4 PM / Check-out time: 11 AM
(Extension incurs a fee: 10,000 KRW for 1 hour, 20,000 KRW for 3 hours)
Additional guests beyond the standard occupancy will be charged 10,000 KRW per person, per night, on-site
(Includes infants and toddlers aged 36 months or older). (Maximum occupancy cannot be exceeded)
Searching for 4 people does not mean the price is based on 4 people

Additional blankets are not provided when using standard bed rooms
Water dispenser, paper cups available in the 1st floor lobby, microwave ovens on each floor corridor
Netflix (using your own account) available in all rooms
Bringing in or consuming king crab, snow crab, spicy fish stew, grilled meat/fish is strictly prohibited in the rooms
(If brought in or consumed, a cleaning fee equivalent to 1 night's stay will be charged the next day for ventilation)
Smoking (all rooms are non-smoking), item damage, foul odors, or severe bedding contamination will incur cleaning and laundry fees
No barbecue, no personal open flames!
If the maximum occupancy is exceeded, a fee of 30,000 KRW per person per night will be charged / Exceeding and adding guests is only possible for up to 1 person
(Children under 36 months are also counted as 1 person. If you come with a child under 36 months in a maximum 2-person room, they are counted towards the occupancy)
(EX. If 2 adults + an infant under 36 months use a maximum 2-person room, an additional 30,000 KRW per night will be charged)
(EX. If 2 adults + an infant under 36 months use a maximum 3-person room, no additional charge will occur)

Indirect lighting (mood lighting) will be replaced with lights attached to the bed frame, so currently not available
The cover of the folding mattress in Ondol-style rooms and Family rooms is coated leather
While I personally am very satisfied with it, there may be personal preferences
Please confirm before booking (pads for mattresses cannot be provided) (additional guests will use floor bedding)
Anti-slip slippers are provided in the bathroom
Please be careful of slipping as the floor can be slippery after showering
(We are not responsible for accidents)
Boiler operating hours and air conditioner
Late-night electric boiler operates from 10 PM to 8 AM
(Ondol-style, operates daily in winter)
Boiler operating period: Mid-November to end of March (based on external temperature of 12 degrees Celsius)
(Operates upon request outside this period)
Electric mat available (provided only in bed rooms upon request)
Air conditioner remote control placement period (provided upon request outside this period)
Early May to mid-October (remote controls placed)
Parking Information
Dedicated parking lot available for 30 cars
Inside the building + sloped area in front of the building + dedicated parking lot
There is a dedicated parking lot for Iruum Pentel behind the Birch Tree Hotel next door
Smoking Information
All rooms are non-smoking (use ashtrays on stairs from 3rd to 6th floors)
Smoking will incur cleaning fees and a 1-night accommodation fee (for ventilation for more than 24 hours)
Cooking Information
Only Family rooms allow simple cooking, no personal open flames allowed
Absolutely no cooking of meat or fish inside Family rooms (bringing in sliced raw fish is allowed)
For other rooms, forced eviction will occur if personal open flames are brought in or cooking takes place
Other Information
Fishy smell, foul odor, bedding contamination, or smoking will incur cleaning fees and a 1-night accommodation fee (for ventilation for more than 24 hours)
