Although the accommodation is old, it seems to be well maintained. I wish the welcome coffee voucher period would be for the entire stay rather than just the day of use.
It was my first stay in three years, but I liked that it was unchanged. The lake view was nice and it was clean, and there was an unmanned convenience store so it was easy to buy snacks. The cable car was very close, so I took the first ride in the morning. haha
It was good. I wish there were a single-person breakfast package for business travelers.

We spent a neat and comfortable two nights with Chungpung Lake as the backdrop.
It was hot and we arrived in the evening, so we could only take a short walk, but the paths seemed well maintained. There were no nearby places to eat, so we ate at the resort restaurant. Most importantly, we were satisfied with the accommodation. It was spacious, good for spreading out our suitcases, and the view was nice. However, we wanted to go out on the terrace but it was blocked off, which was a bit disappointing. Also, it seemed to be centrally heated, but it felt cold so we turned on the air conditioner; during the night it turned on automatically, so we just slept with the door open. We booked a sauna package thinking it was in the same building as the room, but it was in a different building, which was disappointing. It might be better to book the breakfast package and go separately. The spa fee for hotel guests seemed to be about 8,000 won; they called it a traditional herbal bath, but it did not feel particularly special. All the staff were friendly.

I booked because of the view. I probably will not use it next time. The facilities are too old and maintenance is lacking. This place has many disappointments.

I was completely satisfied. I booked a weekday lake view and the view of Chungju Lake was spectacular. At night the temperature was automatically controlled so I slept comfortably without being too hot or cold. I had breakfast there, and for dinner I went to a nearby restaurant for pork belly and beer, then walked back along the trail. The Jecheon tourist attractions gave good discounts for hotel guests, including the cable car, Chungju Lake cruise, and the hanbang land sauna. Highly recommended.
