Hotel Moaksan, Wanju

The exterior looks like Gwigok Sanjang with only the interior done, and the reservoir view is blocked by trees so it is basically nonexistent, yet they charge more. Unfriendliness on top of that.

I stayed here last year and liked it so much that I revisited. I wondered if it would still be well maintained when I returned, but as soon as I entered the building there was a pleasant scent and everything was very, very clean. In ondol rooms many places don't clean the floors well, but even the window sills were spotless. The bathroom water pressure was great, so I had a comfortable two days. There was no worry about parking, and since they do not offer day-use rooms, it seems they manage things better! I'll come here again next year!

This is my first time writing a review after booking through Yanolja..! If I visit the Gimje area, this is the only place I think I'll use. Reason: The bedding is extremely clean. I have sensitive skin, so I always pay attention to the blankets and sheets wherever I go. Here, the bedding must be very well maintained because I did not feel any itchiness at all! The interior of the lodging was also clean, and there was no sense of dirtiness anywhere inside the room! The owners at the front desk are also very friendly!! One minor drawback is the soundproofing? I could hear some noise from the hallway. This may vary by person, but I have sensitive hearing... I spent one night in an east-view room with a lake view. It was a last-minute hotel reservation, but overall it was well maintained and clean. You can also see a beautiful sunrise. The owner is kind, and if I have the chance I definitely want to return!

While looking for a place to stay before hiking Moaksan, which is in Wanju, I stayed one night at Moaksan Hotel located at the entrance to Moaksan. The hotel was clean and the bathroom was clean too. The owner was friendly and recommended nearby restaurants, so I enjoyed delicious food, had a good hike on Moaksan, and spent a comfortable day.

We stayed here while hiking Moaksan. The price is reasonable and it is really clean!! Also, the bathroom is separate from the room, which I liked.
